Instead of writing a resume that doesn’t make me stand out as a candidate, I decided to rewrite my resume and tell the story behind the facts in 2-3 sentences.

While not the norm, I believe this should help a lot in the process. After all, when a potential employer requests that you “walk [them] through your resume”, shouldn’t it help tell the story and captivate them to prompt more in depth questions other than ask about what a bullet point means?

Through 9 pages I walk you through the past eight years of my life by outlining what it is that I have learned, how did I learned and how I have grown skills that can be adapted and transfered to new experiences.

There is a lot that I have learned and areas where I have grown, as well as areas and things that I do less of in the quest of daily epiphanies.

This chart encompasses eight years of living abroad and countless meetings with people from all walks of life in dozens of countries. I decided to make this chart to ease the process of a job phone screening or interview as it outlines some of my values, beliefs and goals in life.
